New magazine looks at how organizations around the world use climate-friendly natural refrigerants – carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons and ammonia – and other sustainable technologies
Brussels, Belgium (February 14, 2020) The February 2020 issue of Accelerate Magazine, now available online, describes the most compelling trends shaping the future of retail refrigeration, based on a survey of major manufacturers exhibiting at the EuroShop 2020 trade show in Düsseldorf, Germany, February 16-20.
Debuting in June 2019, Accelerate Magazine is the first news publication written for and about the most progressive business leaders working with climate-friendly natural refrigerants throughout the world. It incorporates shecco’s previously published regional magazines, Accelerate America, Accelerate Europe and Accelerate Australia & New Zealand.
The February 2020 issue of Accelerate Magazine (Vol. 1, No. 107) is viewable at no charge at http://accelerate24.news/magazines/. Print copies of Accelerate Magazine are distributed at major trade shows serving the HVAC (heating, ventilation, air-conditioning) and refrigeration industries, including ATMOsphere conferences; copies of the February issue will be available at EuroShop.
Among the trends in retail refrigeration that the February cover story details are: the growth of CO2 and propane refrigeration systems in a range of store formats, improving energy efficiency, and greater adoption of integrated refrigeration, air conditioning and heating systems. The story also highlights the latest natural refrigeration products that will be exhibited at EuroShop.
Also in the February 2020 issue are regional articles on: a custom transcritical CO2 refrigeration system in hot, muggy Florida, U.S.; Polish retailer Biedronka, the king of the retrofits; a Kenyan fish processing facility upgrading to ammonia refrigeration; a Woolworths store in Australia meeting the “Living Building Challenge”; and Japanese retailer Lawson opening its first natural refrigerant store in China.
