Brussels, 25 April 2018 – sheccoBase, the market intelligence arm of shecco, is organising a series of webinars in summer 2018 to provide a thorough analysis of the latest trends for natural refrigerants globally. Hydrocarbons in Europe, ammonia – including low-charge ammonia – in China, and CO2 in North America will have their own dedicated webinar, featuring speakers from leading equipment manufacturers Danfoss and Carnot Refrigeration.
sheccoBase today kicks off its 2018 webinar series by hosting the LIFE FRONT webinar. LIFE FRONT is an EU-funded project led by shecco that aims to remove barriers to hydrocarbons and contribute to the wider uptake of refrigeration, heating and air-conditioning equipment using these natural refrigerants. The webinar will outline the objectives and expected outcomes of the project, as well as work completed so far to increase the uptake of hydrocarbon-based technology.
Leading equipment manufacturer Danfoss will discuss ‘Ensuring safety in China’s industrial refrigeration’ in an upcoming webinar on 9 May 2018, hosted by sheccoBase. The webinar will highlight challenges and opportunities in ensuring the safe handling of natural refrigerants in China, and reflect on lessons learned and latest market developments from China Refrigeration (9-11 April 2018) and ATMOsphere China (11-12 April 2018). Alvaro de Oña, chief operating officer at shecco, will present the opportunities and challenges identified for ensuring safety in China’s industrial refrigeration. Kristian Strand, vice-president industrial refrigeration and Jackie Xiao, marketing communications manager, China region at Danfoss will present the current status and challenges facing Chinese industrial refrigeration safety from a global and Chinese perspective, while Ms. Ju ChengCheng, chief engineer assistant at Yantai Moon, will present the Chinese equipment manufacturer’s perspective.
sheccoBase will also host a webinar from equipment manufacturer Carnot Refrigeration on 16 May about CO2 in industrial refrigeration. Carnot Refrigeration is one of the most experienced companies in CO2 refrigeration in North America. The webinar – which will take place two days before the opening of Carnot’s new facility – will provide the latest trends in adoption of natural refrigerant-based technology in industrial refrigeration in North America (and globally), as well as expectations for future developments. The webinar will also highlight the benefits of CO2 in industrial refrigeration compared to HFCs, HCFCs, ammonia and low-charge ammonia.
