ATMOsphere conferences return to Asia & Europe beginning of 2015

September 2, 2014NewsAdmin Shecco

The first quarter of 2015 promises lots of excitement with two ATMOsphere conferences, ATMOsphere Asia 2015 and ATMOsphere Europe 2015, kicking off in February and March respectively. Registration for both events has officially opened with an Early Bird Special rate ending in October. The ATMOsphere Review Board has also issued an official Call for Case Studies for the conferences.

ATMOsphere Asia 2015 – “Natural Refrigerants – Solutions for Asia”

After a successful premier last year, ATMOsphere Asia returns for its second edition from 3-5 February at the Shin-Maru Conference Square in Tokyo, Japan. Once again, the event will serve as the meeting place for leading Asian and international HVAC&R industry stakeholders, creating a platform for international business development. Discussions will centre on the latest natural refrigerant market trends, technology innovations and regulatory issues in Japan, China and South East Asia.

Key programme highlights include updates on national F-Gas Regulations and their implementation in Japan, China, Europe and North & South America, as well as other national measures and incentives for natural refrigerants. The conference will feature both an Asian and an International End User Panel, in which leading retailers and consumer goods brands will discuss their experiences using natural refrigerant technologies. ATMOsphere Asia 2015 will also include a special Tokyo 2020 Olympics Session focusing on the role natural refrigerants will play during the Olympic games.

Technology case study presentations will cover a range of applications from commercial, light commercial, industrial & transport refrigeration to heat pumps and air conditioning applications. The ATMOsphere Review Board is now accepting innovative technology case study submissions focused on the Asian market. The deadline for submitting a case study abstract is 1 December 2014. Details about submission guidelines can be found atwww.ATMO.org/asia2015/casestudies.

ATMOsphere Europe 2015 – “Natural Refrigerants – Solutions for Europe”

Returning for the 6th time, ATMOsphere Europe 2015 will take place from 16-17 March at the Crowne Plaza Le Palace Hotel in Brussels, Belgium. Leading HVAC&R industry stakeholders, including end users, suppliers, government representatives, associations and more, will gather to discuss the latest market, policy and technology developments in the field of natural refrigerants.

One of the major topics of ATMOsphere Europe 2015 will be the new EU F-Gas Regulation, which will enter into force on the first of January 2015. Discussions will focus on its practical implementation, including clarifications on how the industry should approach certain requirements and terms. The conference will also look at national measures and incentives for natural refrigerants and provide an update on EcoDesign and ISO standards, as well as market trends in the field of natural refrigerants.

The ATMOsphere Review Board is seeking innovative natural refrigerant case studies focused on commercial, light commercial, industrial & transport refrigeration, heat pumps and air conditioning, as well as new areas of application, to be presented at ATMOsphere Europe 2015. Joint presentations between manufacturers/contractors and end users are welcome. Case studies must be applicable to the European market and special attention will be given to case studies centred on applications in the warmer climates of Southern Europe. The deadline for submitting an abstract is 15 December 2014. Information about case study submission guidelines can be found atwww.ATMO.org/europe2015/casestudies.
