shecco is proud to announce that the company’s succesful event series ATMOsphere will be organised for the first time in North America. Next year, from June 12-13, around 200 experts will meet in Washington DC to discuss and learn about the business case for natural refrigerants, including the latest developments in technology, policy and market trends for CO2, ammonia and hydrocarbons.
With the growing demand for natural refrigerants systems and components in the US and Canada, as well as the new regulations and market developments expected even over the coming days as well as over the coming weeks and months, the time seems to be right to bring the ATMOsphere workshop and conference on the natural refrigerants CO2, ammonia and hydrocarbons to North America.

The event will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday 12-13 June next year and registration will open next week, with a special Christmas early bird for the month of December.
ATMOsphere America is intended to become the annual meeting place for industry experts to discuss natural refrigerant trends, latest technologies and regulatory issues in North America.

ATMOsphere America 2012 is very timely with several SNAP approvals for hydrocarbon applications expected to be approved shortly. In addition, the recent announcement of the acquisition of Danish company Advansor by American company Hill PHOENIX is expected to provide a boost for CO2 transcritical refrigeration in North America.
Call for papers coming soon
A call for case studies will be issued, and from the submissions presentations for the 2 planned technology sessions will be selected. Case studies should reflect the latest market innovations and efficiency results for CO2applications in North America. All details and criteria for selection will be published in early January on the event website.
