We would like to thank all speakers and participants for their support and valuable input.
The ATMOsphere team would like to thank all speakers and participants for having attended ATMOsphere Europe 2011. Only with this support and contributions to the sessions, workshops, discussions, Q&A and networking talks ATMOsphere could become the unique platform for natural refrigerants technology and experts that it is today.
Welcoming over 170 participants this year’s ATMOsphere Europe 2011 provided a key opportunity to assess the current natural refrigerant market and discuss the ways in which policy-makers and industry stakeholders can support this growing sector. ATMOsphere Europe 2011 offered participants the unique opportunity to debate policy issues relevant to the future of natural refrigerants, including the F-Gas Regulation and Ecodesign requirements with the representatives from the European Commission and Parliament that are involved in the decision making process. The event hosted also a series of interactive workshops and presented the latest technology developments for hydrocarbon, ammonia and carbon dioxide technologies in the HVAC&R sector.

Follow up Policy Workshops and Draft Roadmap
In the two workshops about F-Gases and the Ecodesign Directive, the partiicpants discussed together with policy representatives the topics and gave valuable input and ideas. All written comments were reviewed and put into a summary report outlining key issues by the shecco team. This report has been sent directly to the various Commission and Parliament experts that attended ATMOsphere as well as national and international policy experts.
The same applied to the Draft Roadmap (10-point action plan) that was discussed in a workshop on Wednesday morning: All ideas have ben analysed and put together into a new draft roadmap. This will then be sent to all companies that attended to voluntarily sign up to this Action Plan.
