shecco has released its first mobile application on the App Store for its business-to-business platform cars21.com, giving readers the opportunity to keep up-to-date on the latest electric vehicle market activities wherever they are.
Following the successful launch of www.cars21.com as an industry platform for “Everything Electric” in 2009, shecco is taking another major step to increase the interactivity of its services for the electric vehicle industry. The application developed for cars21.com is more than a mobile version of the website: it is a user-friendly tool designed to efficiently provide readers with the information they need on the go.
The APP displays four major types of information accessible via the menu at the bottom of the screen: News, Partners, Events, and Photos.

Latest articles and flash news are available on the APP homepage. All articles already displayed remain available without a Wifi or 3G connection. As for the classic platform, it is possible to react to any article by posting a comment at the end or to reply to comments made by other readers and members.
The APP also gives the opportunity to easily find the premium partners, read their description, and contact them through an embedded request form. If necessary, their website link is provided too.
Through the events listing, the most important international EV events’ websites are just one touch away, enabling mobile users to search for specific information without leaving the cars21.com APP.
Finally, more than 1,500 photos from some of the EV events cars21.com attended as media partner are available on the APP.

This first version of the cars21.com APP already gives access to the most relevant content and data of the EV sector at any time and from any place, but a second version is already in the making and will integrate even more features. Amongst them, the cars21.com online community will open the door to convenient interaction with all members, constant access to experts around the world and a wealth of information with real time updates.
Later this year Android and Blackberry versions of the application will be released in order to reach as many members as possible, as well as other mobile applications for shecco’s natural refrigerants platforms.
